Looks like a raccoon, but it is a species of dog. Raccoon Dogs defecate in fixed locations('raccoon dog public toilets'!). They are well adapted to suburban environments. They have always lived close to humans, and there are many old tales describing Raccoon Dogs cheating humans, although in a rather charming way.
